The Business Nuts & Bolts of Metal Retrofit Roofing
(1.5 hrs/ LUs, PDH)
Chuck Howard P.E., President, Metal Roof Consultants (Booth 429)
Metal retrofit roofing has been talked about since the early 1980s. Many contractors and manufacturers have been in and out of the market during this 30-plus-years time span. Some experiences have been good and some not so good. Chuck Howard helped develop this market, designing and constructing the first retrofit roof structure in Wilmington, Ohio in 1979. He owned one of the largest metal roof contracting business in the 1980s and 1990s, then elected to spend his time helping others in this business as a professional consultant. His personal experience in his contracting years, plus what he subsequently learned as a consultant, allow him to speak directly to contractors, manufacturers and building owners concerning the “nuts and bolts” of this market. In this session, he addresses every vital area – the market, design, construction, company management, building relationships, sales, and engineering. If you want to get real time information about this growing market, no matter the state of the economy, plan to attend this seminar.
